Oh. I missed fun.

Glad to hear it was a good one! Tell me how the AppleTV works (do you also run an express? I'm interested to know if they can be made to interact).

Dude, I totally should have invited you :(

The Apple TV works great so far. I don't have an express - I got a Belkin N Wireless for my network. I think the express would work though; as long as you have a wireless connection (or a long LAN cable) the AppleTV syncs with your computer quite nicely.

It basically allows me to stream my iTunes library. As long as iTunes is open and on the same network you define in the AppleTV settings, you're good to go.

The only thing that I have to get used to is that it plays your movies in whatever resolution you encoded them at. So if you have a movie that's only, say, 400x275, then it plays on your TV at that res and you have a little tiny movie in the center of your screen.

Basically, I've learned to encode movies at a big resolution if possible. I bought a movie off of iTunes to see how it plays, but I haven't watched it yet so I'll have to get back to you on that :)

So far so good though!
