That kept happening to me too. I ended up deleting the picture and uploading it again, and it has never happened since.

there is a current LJ bug with incorrect icons sitting in an LJ cache somewhere.

Open a support request with the keywords of the icon in question, as well as what it's supposed to look like and they'll refresh the cache.

It's happening to miss_bontemps too - but she won't open the support request so it keeps coming back.


(well, that and they obviously aren't fixing the underlying bug, the cache blowout just fixes the symptoms)
